About the Role The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) owns the commercial success, growth, and long-term partnership of Fingerprint’s most strategic customers. This remote, highly visible role partners with Strategic CSMs, CSEs, Sales, and Product to drive renewals, expansions, and multi-year account strategy, acting as the CEO of the account from a commercial perspective. What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end commercial relationship for strategic accounts including renewals, expansions, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Develop and maintain multi-year account plans aligning customer goals with Fingerprint’s roadmap and value proposition.
- Drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR) through proactive expansion, upsell, and cross-sell motions.
- Ensure on-time renewals with clear forecasting and risk mitigation.
- Identify and qualify expansion opportunities across products, features, teams, regions, and use cases; partner with CSMs and CSEs to translate technical success into commercial growth.
- Build and maintain a healthy, accurate expansion pipeline for assigned accounts; lead executive-level discussions tied to ROI, business outcomes, and strategic alignment.
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and economic buyers within each account; multi-thread across technical, product, fraud, risk, and business stakeholders.
- Represent the customer internally and advocate for their needs across Product, Engineering, and Leadership.
- Cross-functional collaboration: ensure tight handoffs between Success and Sales; partner with Strategic CSMs, Strategic CSEs, Account Executives, Product, and Marketing.
- Forecasting & Reporting: own renewal and expansion forecasting; maintain high pipeline accuracy and visibility; track key commercial metrics, risks, and opportunities. What We're Looking For
- 7-10+ years in Account Management, Strategic Customer Success, or Enterprise Sales, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- Proven experience managing large, complex enterprise or strategic accounts with multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- Strong track record of renewals, expansions, and long-term account growth.
- Experience working in highly technical products or platforms (e.g., developer tools, security, fraud, infrastructure, data).
- Proficiency with macOS and comfort working fully remotely using tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom.

- Base cash compensation range: $130,000 - $160,000 (OTE $180,000 - $220,000) for US-based employees. USD.
