About the Role
Under general supervision, operates tools and machines to ensure castings meet customer dimensional specifications and quality standards. Responsible for ensuring documentation, tooling, and parts are correctly matched to paperwork and for performing inspections on complex castings to verify conformance.
What You'll Do
- Follow established housekeeping and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Operate tools and machines to manipulate castings by various means (hot and cold) to ensure castings conform to visual and dimensional specifications.
- Perform a wide variety of inspection functions on complex, critical castings to verify conformance to customer requirements and quality standards.
- Ensure that documentation, tooling and parts are correctly matched to paperwork.

- Ability to use various tools and machines to ensure castings meet dimensional specifications and quality standards.
- Experience or ability to perform inspection functions on complex castings to verify conformance to customer requirements.
- Knowledge of documentation control and matching tooling/parts to paperwork.
