Stores Officer (Receiving & Distribution)

We are looking for a reliable and organised Stores Officer to join our hotel team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for receiving, checking, storing, and distributing stock and supplies throughout the hotel, ensuring departments have the products they need to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role is part-time, minimum 20 hours per week, 8am-12 noon Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

• Key Responsibilities...

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and invoices.

• Unload, label, store, and rotate stock in accordance with company procedures.

• Deliver goods and supplies to hotel departments in a timely manner.

• Maintain storerooms in a clean, organised, and safe condition.

• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory counts and stocktakes.

• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to suppliers and management.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.

• Assist with stock control, ordering processes, and record keeping.

• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys safely.

• About You...

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, receiving, logistics, or hospitality role preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Ability to lift and move stock safely and work in a physically active environment.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments.

• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems is desirable.

• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

• Current RSA valid in QLD
