About this role
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
◾Load catering vehicles with all carts and service items for aircrafts
◾Service aircrafts to ensure on-time departures, including all galleys and forms
◾Carry out deliveries for all departments
◾Assist in the preparation of documentation for the release of all incoming items from customs or cargo, as necessary
◾Assist in the accomplishment of storing, shipping and receiving of aircraft parts, tools and equipment, in accordance with company and regulatory authority

◾Provide

support and assist in the routing of outgoing containers and documentation to

the cargo department for shipment

◾Monitor and maintain, at all times,

the proper storage conditions in the aircraft Bonded Stores and Tool Crib
-
climatic conditions, ventilation, storage racks, spacing and cleanliness etc. Monitor
-
shelf-life limitations and ensure that stock rotation is practiced
-
◾Maintain
-
at all times the Bonded, Quarantine, Goods Out and UREC sections of the stores
-
in a clean, tidy and organized condition
-
◾Receive
-
unused parts credited to stores and route to Quarantine Stores, in accordance
-
with company procedures
-
◾Update
-
the Computer Inventory System and company records as directed by the
-

Requirements

Qualifications, Skills &

Experience:

◾Minimum
-
of High School Diploma
-
◾Working
-
knowledge of computer applications
-
◾Basic
-
general knowledge in Airline Operations Procedures
-
◾Committed
-
to promoting airline operational efficiency to Cayman Airways
-
◾Ability
-
work independently and under pressure
-
Special Conditions
-
◾Possess
-
valid Cayman Islands Group 4 Driver’s License
-
◾Must
-
have the physical stability to stand for long hours, ascend and descend
-
stairways, and lift heavy parcels and baggage up to 70 pounds
-
◾May be
-
exposed to the elements of extreme heat, rain and subject to noisy conditions

◾Able to
-
work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
