Job title: Storeroom Supply Clerk-SPD
About the Role Storeroom Supply Clerk-SPD distributes and delivers department orders, assists with departmental inventory control, and supports duties as assigned by the SPD Supervisor or Lead-Supply Distribution/Inventory Clerk-SPD on Pyxis or Receiving. This is an on-site role at Eisenhower Medical Center, collaborating with nursing units to ensure timely and accurate supply distribution.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrate compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies; resolve questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Consistently report to work on time.
- Refill supplies to par level on all Pyxis stations using refill procedures and stock-out/critical low reports.
- Make scheduled and unscheduled supply deliveries, completing all corresponding paperwork.
- Demonstrate cost effectiveness with handling of supplies, e.g., rotating stock to ensure use prior to outdate.
- Receive stock shipments in the Materials Management Computer System, noting exceptions to packing slips and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Pick department supply orders from Pyxis.
- Assist with problem solving with nursing unit staff pertaining to medical supply issues.
- Stock shelves of all received supplies and rotate stock before shelving.
