Job title: Storeperson/Trades Assistant
About the Role We are seeking an energetic, mechanically minded Storeperson/Trades Assistant to join our Kalgoorlie workshop. You will support the workshop and warehouse operations, maintain equipment, and assist with receiving, picking, packing and dispatch of goods.
What You'll Do
- Providing labouring assistance to qualified Trade Technicians during technical tasks such as pump or associated equipment service and repairs
- Testing of pumps post-repair
- Spray painting of pumps post repair
- Preparation of items for shipping and inventory management
- Equipment delivery and pickups from local customers
- General cleaning, maintenance, and housekeeping duties in workshop and warehouse
- Forklift operations for movement and storage of pumps and other equipment
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience working preferably in a workshop
- Forklift & HR license
- Prior experience working as a storeperson
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals
- Intermediate level of computer literacy, particularly MS Office suite
- Some exposure or experience working in the pump industry or an engineering environment desirable
