Storekeeper I, II, Sr

Entergy Louisiana, LLC is seeking a Storekeeper I, II, or Sr based onsite in Arcadia, Louisiana. The role supports distribution warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing and shipping material, and requires the use of powered industrial lift trucks and electric pallet jacks. Housekeeping is part of the job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack material manually up to 50 lbs; use mechanical equipment for heavier material; process material returned from the field.
• Perform accurate inventory counts and investigate discrepancies to reconcile inventory.
• Unload material, inspect for damage, count accurately, complete the receiving process, and store material in the correct bin locations.
• Use RF handheld equipment or paper pick lists to locate and pull required material; perform basic computer functions (entry, lookup, etc.).
• Print and apply appropriate shipping labels.
• Participate in and comply with health, safety, quality and lean initiatives and requirements; perform other duties as assigned by the superintendent.

Requirements

• Minimum experience: Storekeeper I: 0-2 years; Storekeeper II: 2-4 years; Storekeeper Sr: 4-6 years.
• Must be able to manually lift 50 lbs and operate powered industrial lift trucks and/or electric pallet jacks.
• Demonstrate knowledge of stores concepts and methods; familiar with nomenclature of electrical materials; able to perform basic mathematical calculations; some problem-solving ability to resolve material inaccuracies.
• No certificates or licenses are required.
• This position is designated as Safety Sensitive and requires mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
• This is an onsite position and location can be Arcadia, Louisiana; primary function in the Arcadia service center.
• Job function falls under Field & Skilled Trade; nonexempt from overtime.
