Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible, organised, and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of hospital supplies and consumables.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect supplies delivered to the hospital, ensuring quantities and specifications match approved documents.
• Maintain accurate records of all stock received, issued, transferred, and remaining.
• Properly arrange, label, and store items to ensure easy identification and accessibility.
• Monitor stock levels and promptly notify the appropriate supervisor when items require replenishment.
• Issue supplies to departments based on authorised requisitions.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
• Monitor expiry dates and apply appropriate stock rotation practices, including FIFO/FEFO where applicable.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, missing, or obsolete items.
• Maintain a clean, secure, and well-organised store.
• Prepare regular inventory and stock reports.
• Assist with internal and external stock audits.
• Liaise with relevant departments to ensure the availability of required supplies.
• Ensure compliance with CarePoint Hospitals' inventory control policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory management, logistics, or a similar role. Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of stock control and inventory management procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic inventory management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with different departments.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and responsibility.
