Store Supervisor

Section: Job Purpose The primary purpose of the job is to supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the store to ensure the safe, accurate, efficient, and timely receipt, storage, control and issuance of materials, raw materials, spare parts and finished goods in accordance with the company procedure and acceptable standards.

Section: Job Responsibilities

1. Received, inspect, and verified incoming spares and supplies for accuracy and quality.
2. Ensure proper storage of goods in the store to prevent spoilage and theft.
3. Maintained accurate inventory records using both manual logs and computerized system.
4. Issued materials or spares to production team based on approved requisitions.
5. Monitor stock levels and proactively report shortage or surplus inventory to the management.
6. Conduct regular physical inventory count and reconciled discrepancies with inventory records.
7. Maintained a clear organized and safe storage environment in compliance with the company protocol.
8. Ensure adherence to all safety and storage regulation.
9. Coordinate closely with procurement and production department for effective planning and replenishment.
10. Report damage, missing or non-conforming items to the relevant department for resolution.
11. You will be responsible for managing all the store operations and other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Section: Person Specification

1. 6 -7 year’s relevant experience in store and warehousing in a manufacturing environment.
2. Qualification – HND/BSC Holders with relevant inventory management experience.
3. Computer skill - the candidate must be good with Microsoft excel and inventory management software.
4. The candidate must be a good team player and possess leadership ability.
5. Monitor the availability and consumption of PET resin, Masterbatch, additives, and packaging materials.
6. Maintained accurate records of material received, consumed and rework.
7. Report accidents, hazard and unsafe working conditions.
8. Monitor and report production defects and rejected preforms.
9. Work closely with the quality control team to investigate quality problems.

Section: WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR A hands-on store supervisor that has good understanding of store / warehouse operation in the manufacturing /production environment, supervise, lead and control store workers, give attention to details and maintain accurate store records, safety conscious and possess ability to solve problem independently, work collaboratively with production teams to meet production objectives.
