We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Store & Procurement Officer Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja Employment Type: Full-time Reports to: General Manager, with day-to-day coordination with the Head Chef and Head Bartender Work Schedule: Early starts with evening/weekend cover as needed.

Core Purpose

• Keep the entire venue supplied, stocked and cost-efficient. Source, buy, receive, store and issue everything the kitchen, bar, floor and games need — from fresh produce and meat to wines, spirits, cleaning supplies and equipment — while protecting quality and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase quality ingredients, beverages, consumables and equipment at the right price and reliability
• Negotiate with suppliers, maintain approved lists and secure alternative sources
• Inspect all deliveries for quality, quantity, temperature and freshness; reject substandard goods
• Receive, store and issue stock correctly using FIFO/FEFO, with accurate records
• Conduct regular stock counts, investigate variances and manage par levels
• Control costs, reduce waste and prepare monthly purchase/stock reports
• Match invoices to orders and support timely supplier payments
• Enforce food safety, hygiene and store security standards
• Maintain strict integrity and confidentiality in all procurement activities

Requirements

• Minimum: OND/HND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Logistics or Hospitality
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business or related field
• Food Safety & Hygiene certificate required (or within 3 months)
• 3–5 years’ experience in purchasing/store-keeping, ideally in a restaurant, hotel or high-volume F&B operation
• Strong knowledge of Abuja markets and suppliers is a major advantage
• Excellent Excel/stock-control skills, numeracy, organisation and negotiation ability
• Impeccable honesty and integrity (verifiable references required)
• Minimum age: 21
