About the Role You lead the store team by example, driving exceptional customer service, maximizing sales, and maintaining overall store performance. You understand the Dr. Martens brand and will help grow our footprint in the Americas region. What You'll Do
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve KPI targets.
- Drive sales and brand loyalty by adhering to retail standards and optimizing store performance.
- Exceed sales and profitability budgets while controlling costs to meet ROS and payroll goals.
- Develop business strategies to increase store traffic and profitability.
- Manage all HR aspects (recruiting, hiring, training, retaining top talent).
- Oversee inventory control, accurate stock tracking, and input product orders; monitor stock levels.
- Share input on product orders, buying trends, customer needs, and inventory levels; ensure regular stock reviews.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards and store presentations are consistent with brand guidelines.
- Create schedules to meet business needs and ensure accurate timekeeping; coordinate local advertising/promotions in line with Brand Marketing.
- Support the team with effective communication and problem solving in day-to-day operations. What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in footwear and/or apparel.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Experience managing staff, setting schedules, assessing performance, and supporting professional development.
- Thorough knowledge of retail merchandising and operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, retail/register systems, web-based programs, and inventory systems; MPOS and StoreForce experience a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication; ability to engage a wide customer base.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective solutions.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to carry shoe boxes while climbing a ladder or stairs.
- Domestic travel up to 5%.

- Salary: USD 60,000 - 70,000 per year.
