Job title: Store Manager
About the Role Dr. Martens is looking for a Store Manager to lead the store team in the Americas, delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and managing store performance. You will model the DM brand and develop a high-performing team to expand the brand footprint.
What You'll Do
- Lead the sales floor and foster team selling to meet goals and KPIs
- Elevate customer service by greeting customers, sharing brand knowledge, and understanding customer needs
- Train new sales staff on duties and product knowledge, including coaching on and off the selling floor
- Communicate store results to business partners and implement strategies to attain sales goals
- Manage opening/closing procedures, cash handling, balancing registers, and bank deposits
- Assist with daily operations, merchandising to brand guidelines, and inventory processes
- Collaborate with retail stock team to receive, maintain, and replenish in-store stock, maximizing organization
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year supervisory experience, preferably within footwear
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, retail/register systems, web-based programs, and inventory systems; MPOS a plus
- Demonstrated basic math and ability to calculate percentages
- Clear and professional communication with a broad customer base
- Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable and polite
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry shoe boxes while climbing a ladder/stairs
- Punctual and reliable, with strong work ethic
- Brand alignment with Dr. Martens and willingness to contribute to a diverse, inclusive team

- Experience in footwear retail is preferred
