Store Manager

About the Role Join Dr. Martens as a Store Leader within the Americas region. You’ll be a confident leader on and off the sales floor, guiding the store team to deliver exceptional customer service, maximize sales, and maintain strong store performance. You’ll support the team in expanding Dr. Martens’ footprint in the Americas and embody the brand and its values in daily operations. What You'll Do

• Lead the store team on the sales floor to deliver exceptional customer service and maximize sales
• Foster team selling; greet customers, share brand knowledge, and assess customer needs
• Act as a role model to maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure the team understands business goals and KPIs and implement strategies to reach sales targets
• Train new sales staff on duties and product knowledge; coach on and off the selling floor
• Communicate store results effectively to business partners
• Assist with opening/closing the store, balancing the cash register, bank deposits, and daily operations
• Support operational tasks and physical inventories
• Assist with merchandising to meet Brand Marketing guidelines and enhance product appeal
• Work with the retail stock team to receive, maintain, and replenish in-store stock with organized efficiency What We're Looking For
• 1+ year of supervisory experience, preferably within footwear
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, retail/register systems, web-based programs, and computerized inventory systems; MPOS experience a plus
• Basic math skills and ability to calculate percentages
• Clear, professional communication with a broad customer base
• Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable and polite
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry shoe boxes while climbing a ladder and/or stairs
• Punctuality and reliability with scheduled shift times
• Travel not required (0%)
