Store Manager

About the Role Dr. Martens is seeking a Store Manager to lead the store team in the Americas, driving exceptional customer service, sales, and operational excellence. You will be a confident leader on and off the sales floor, aligning with brand values and guiding the team to meet KPIs and store goals. What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional customer service by leading the sales floor and fostering team selling.
• Elevate customer service by greeting store customers, sharing brand knowledge, and understanding customer needs.
• Act as a role model to create a positive, productive work environment; ensure the team understands business goals and KPIs and implement strategies to attain sales targets.
• Train new sales staff on duties and product knowledge, including coaching on and off the selling floor.
• Communicate store results effectively to our business partners.
• Assist with daily store operations including opening/closing, balancing the register, and making bank deposits.
• Support operational tasks and physical inventories; assist with merchandising to meet Brand Marketing guidelines and enhance product appeal.
• Collaborate with the retail stock team to receive, maintain, and replenish in-store stock, maximizing organization and efficiency. What We're Looking For
• 1+ year supervisory experience, preferably within footwear.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, retail/register systems, web-based programs, and computerized inventory systems; MPOS experience a plus.
• Basic math skills, including ability to calculate percentages.
• Clear, professional communication and excellent interpersonal skills; approachable and polite.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to lift shoe boxes while climbing a ladder or stairs.
• Punctuality and reliability in adherence to scheduled shift times.
