About the Role Dr. Martens is seeking a Store Manager to lead our LA-area stores, bringing the brand experience to life and driving store performance. You will lead a team, deliver exceptional customer service, coach staff, and execute growth plans aligned with KPI goals. What You'll Do
- Lead the sales floor and foster team selling to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Greet customers, share brand knowledge, understand customer needs.
- Model a positive, productive work environment.
- Ensure the team understands business goals and KPIs; implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Train new sales staff on duties and product knowledge; coach on and off the selling floor.
- Communicate store results to business partners.
- Support daily store operations: opening/closing, balancing registers, preparing and making bank deposits.
- Assist with inventories and merchandising per Brand Marketing guidelines.
- Collaborate with retail stock team to receive, maintain, and replenish stock; maximize organization and accuracy. What We're Looking For
- 1+ year supervisory experience required, preferably within footwear.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, retail/register systems, web-based programs, and computerized inventory systems; MPOS experience a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of basic math, including percentage calculations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to a broad customer base.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable and polite.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; able to carry shoe boxes while climbing a ladder or stairs.
- Punctual and reliable; adheres to scheduled shift times.
