Store Manager - Americas Region

About the Role You are a confident leader on and off the sales floor, with a growth path as part of the store management team. You lead the store team by driving exceptional customer service, maximizing sales, coaching store staff, and maintaining overall store performance consistently. You understand the Dr. Martens brand and support the team in expanding the brand’s footprint in the Americas region. What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional customer service by leading the sales floor and fostering team selling
• Elevate customer service by greeting store customers, sharing brand knowledge, and seeking to understand customer needs
• Act as a role model to encourage a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure the team is aware of business goals and KPI and implement a strategy to attain sales goals
• Assist in training new sales staff on duties and product knowledge, including coaching on and off the selling floor
• Communicate store results effectively to our business partners
• Assist with daily store operations including opening/closing store, balancing register, preparing, and making bank deposits
• Assist with operational tasks and physical inventories
• Assist with merchandising to meet Brand Marketing guidelines and enhance product appeal
• Work with retail stock team to receive, maintain, and replenish in-store stock, maximizing organization and efficiency What We're Looking For
• 1+ year of supervisory experience, preferably within footwear
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, retail/register systems, web-based programs, and computerized inventory systems; MPOS experience a plus
• Demonstrated understanding of basic math, including calculating percentages
• Clear and professional communication with a broad customer base
• Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable and polite
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to carry shoe boxes while climbing a ladder and/or stairs
• Punctual and reliable adherence to scheduled shift times
