About the Role Dr. Martens is seeking a Store Manager to lead the store team on and off the sales floor, delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, coaching staff, and maintaining strong store performance. You will champion the brand and help expand Dr. Martens’ footprint in the Americas region. What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service by leading the sales floor and fostering team selling.
- Elevate customer service by greeting store customers, sharing brand knowledge, and understanding customer needs.
- Act as a role model to promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure the team is aware of business goals and KPIs; implement strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Assist in training new sales staff on duties and product knowledge.
- Support daily operations including opening/closing the store, balancing registers, and banking.
- Assist with operational tasks and physical inventories.
- Support merchandising to meet Brand Marketing guidelines and enhance product appeal.
- Collaborate with the retail stock team to receive, maintain, and replenish in-store stock with efficient organization. What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of supervisory experience, preferably within footwear.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, retail/register systems, web-based programs, and inventory systems; MPOS experience is a plus.
- Basic math skills including percentage calculations.
- Clear, professional communication with a broad customer base.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable and polite.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and to handle shoe boxes while climbing a ladder or stairs.
- Punctual and reliable with scheduled shift times.
- International/domestic travel: 0%.
