About the Role Lead and develop the store team to deliver outstanding customer service, maximize sales, and maintain store performance. This role combines leadership, HR responsibilities, inventory control, merchandising, and local promotions to grow Dr. Martens’ footprint in the Americas. What You'll Do
- Lead, motivate and develop the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet store KPIs.
- Drive sales, grow brand loyal customers, and optimize profitability; manage controllable costs to meet ROS and payroll goals.
- Oversee all HR activities within the store (recruiting, hiring, training, retaining top talent).
- Manage inventory control: input on product orders, monitor stock levels, and ensure accurate tracking.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards and brand presentation.
- Plan and execute local advertising and store promotions in line with Brand Marketing.
- Build schedules, manage timekeeping, and ensure adequate staffing. What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in footwear and/or apparel.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field a plus.
- Experience managing staff, scheduling, performance assessment, and development.
- Thorough knowledge of retail merchandising and operations; proficient in MS Office; experience with POS/MPOS and inventory systems; StoreForce a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; travel up to 5% domestically.

- Degree in related field. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $64,000 - $74,000 per year (USD). Exact compensation may vary by skills, experience, and location.
