About the Role The Lawson Group is seeking skilled STOP THE BLEED instructors to deliver in-person trainings at our Concord, NH office or on-site for client teams. Instructors provide hands-on bleeding-control instruction and certify participants in STOP THE BLEED in partnership with the American College of Surgeons and the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
What You'll Do
- Deliver STOP THE BLEED trainings in-person at The Lawson Group office in Concord, NH or on-site at client locations.
- Lead hands-on wound simulations and teach bleeding-control techniques (recognize life-threatening bleeding, apply direct pressure and tourniquets, pack wounds).
- Communicate clearly with emergency responders and ensure safety by providing gloves, ponchos, and simulated blood during training.
- Manage training logistics, schedule sessions, coordinate with the Wellness team, and issue official STOP THE BLEED certifications.
- Support workplace safety culture and alignment with OSHA first-aid readiness requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Instructors certified by the American College of Surgeons to teach STOP THE BLEED (or equivalent ACS-certified status).
- Strong classroom and hands-on instruction skills with experience in scenario-based training.
- Comfortable delivering on-site trainings and ability to travel to client locations or work at our Concord, NH office.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and ability to engage diverse groups.
- Ability to manage training materials and equipment (gloves, ponchos, simulated blood).
Nice to Have
- Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED or Basic Life Support certifications (American Heart Association).
- Additional safety or medical training certifications and prior workplace training experience.
- Experience with bloodborne pathogens training is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Course price for participants: $50 per trainee (our training offerings include on-site options and group rates).
