Job title: Stockroom Supervisor
About the Role Dr. Martens is seeking a meticulous Stockroom Supervisor to lead in-store stock operations, ensuring accurate receiving, replenishment, and inventory management. You will work with the retail store team to support the brand's footprint in the Americas and drive sell-through through effective stock control and customer service.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise the stock team, creating and maintaining the stock team schedule while modeling initiative, optimism, and flexibility in changing conditions.
- Receive, maintain, and replenish in-store stock, maximize organization, and ensure accuracy; verify delivery quantities against packing slips and report discrepancies promptly.
- Process incoming shipments and transfers in a timely manner; replenish the flow of merchandise from stockroom to the sales floor.
- Assist with operational tasks and physical inventories; deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering product questions, and supporting sell-through initiatives.
- Train new sales and stock staff on duties and product knowledge; align the team with business goals and KPIs.
- Drive sales results by inspiring the team to engage customers in partnership with store leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year supervisory experience, preferably within footwear.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, retail/register systems, web-based programs, and computerized inventory systems; MPOS experience a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of basic math, including percentage calculations.
- Clear, professional communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry shoe boxes while climbing a ladder or stairs.
- Punctual and reliable with scheduled shift times.
- International/domestic travel: 0%.
