About the Role Embassy Suites is currently seeking a Steward to join our growing restaurant team. As a Steward, you will be responsible for the cleaning of china, glassware, silverware, and food prep items while maintaining sanitization standards. This role supports restaurant operations by ensuring clean, sanitized dining ware and kitchen equipment.
What You'll Do
- Adheres to food sanitation standards, including storage of kitchen equipment and cleanliness of the food prep area
- Ensures kitchen, restaurant, and group events have the proper amount of daily requested supplies and equipment
- Complies with safety requirements
- Understand how to gauge and check the temperature of the dishwasher/dishmachine
- Keeping areas clean in the surrounding dish area and sweeps and mops floors in consistent intervals
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays depending on business needs
