Job title: STEM School Middle School Teacher - Math
About the Role The Dayton Regional STEM School seeks an effective and creative Middle School Math teacher to join its faculty for the 2026-2027 school year. The curriculum will include collaboratively designed project-based learning units that connect to multiple disciplines and/or real-life issues.
What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver course instruction for middle school students – 75%
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and refine content & materials for courses – 20%
- Participate in various meetings (including IEPs, conferences, etc.) and professional development opportunities – 5%
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree by August 1, 2026
- Teaching license or alternative license secured by August 1, 2026
- Outstanding communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to integrate technology into the classroom (preferred)
- Experience working with middle school students (preferred)
- Master’s degree or master’s level coursework (preferred)
- Project based teaching experience (preferred)
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree or relevant coursework if not already noted
- Demonstrated project-based teaching experience
- Experience integrating technology and multidisciplinary units

- This is a grant funded position with continuation dependent on funding.
