About the Role Volt is hiring for a Steel Polisher – 1st Shift in Fort Worth, TX. The role will involve using polishing tools, grinders, and buffers to smooth and polish steel surfaces, inspecting products for quality, and supporting the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards while maintaining a safe manufacturing environment. What You'll Do
- Use polishing tools, grinders, and buffers to smooth and polish steel surfaces
- Inspect steel products to ensure quality and finish meet specifications
- Remove imperfections, scratches, and blemishes from metal surfaces
- Maintain and clean polishing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Follow safety guidelines and best practices in a manufacturing environment What We're Looking For
- Ability to operate polishing and grinding machinery
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
- High School Diploma or GED Nice to Have
- Previous experience in steel polishing or metal finishing is preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (USD)
