About the Role Volt is hiring Stainless Steel TIG Welders in Fort Worth, TX for a 2nd shift, full-time contract-to-hire opportunity. You will weld stainless steel components (sheet, plate, and tubing) using TIG, perform purge welding on sanitary assemblies, and ensure welds meet ASME and biopharma standards. What You'll Do
- TIG weld stainless steel sheet (7–14 gauge), plate, and tubing
- Perform purge welding on sanitary stainless assemblies
- Produce high-quality welds meeting ASME and biopharma standards
- Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings
- Maintain clean weld appearance and proper penetration
- Work efficiently while maintaining strict quality standards
- Assist with documentation and quality control processes What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1-year TIG welding experience (stainless steel required)
- Ability to pass in-house weld test
- Experience with purge welding preferred, but not necessary
- Ability to read blueprints and dimensioned drawings
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to learn with a strong positive attitude Nice to Have
- Purge welding experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $23.00 - $28.00/hr, DOE
