Job title: Stage Manager - House of Blues New Orleans
About the Role Stage Manager – House of Blues New Orleans is responsible for communicating the evening's event details to production crews and in-house departments, securing passes, coordinating guest lists, and ensuring band and crew readiness for a smooth show. The role also oversees load-in/load-out, documents disciplinary issues, handles post-show settlements per contractual terms, and enforces staging, safety, and show protocol.
What You'll Do
- Communicate the details of the evening’s event to production crew and all relevant in-house departments.
- Secure required passes and tickets and prepare guest lists.
- Manage members of the Production crew and Greenroom staff.
- Ensure that members of the Band(s) have required items needed to perform.
- Supervise the Load-in and load out of band equipment and rental equipment.
- Document disciplinary issues of production crew and report actions back to the Production Manager.
- Execute settlement per contract with artists post show.
- Ensure all in-house policies are enforced regarding staging, safety and show protocol.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years minimum Tour and Stage Production experience.
- Experience in stage management and coordinating production crews and in-house departments.
- Knowledge of staging, safety protocols, and show operations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to perform under pressure and lead a team.
