Description

  • The Workforce Staffing (WFS) team is seeking a Staffing Lead to serve as the primary candidate-facing member of our field operations in Brasil. This role combines execution and decision-making in a high-volume hiring environment where Customer Obsession drives everything we do. You will manage Associate labor delivery through direct sourcing channels, vendor suppliers, and community engagement initiatives. The Staffing Lead owns tactical development of engagement plans, supports labor demand planning for multiple sites across the node, and ensures flawless candidate activities. You are an analytical thinker with a passion for process improvement, candidate experience, and seamless onboarding, joining a team that thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment.

  • Key job responsibilities

  • Pre-plan, execute, and audit Pre-Hire Appointments (PHA) based on labor projections to meet labor order demands and fill on time. Complete post-audit of events and communicate metrics to leadership

  • Partner with business operations and finance regional leaders to align labor strategy and mitigate fulfillment risk through weekly Labor Assumption and Labor Planning meetings

  • Manage labor suppliers, associated KPIs, standard work delivery, and forecasting

  • Ensure 100% compliance for work authorization documentation (CLT requirements, CPF validation, and applicable labor documentation per Brazilian legislation)

  • Guide applicants through the hiring process in accordance with Amazon's policies, including admissional medical exam (ASO) coordination

  • Monitor labor market health and provide advanced insights into changes affecting the business

  • Execute PHA activities including Greeter, Welcome Event Presenter, Candidate Care Specialist, Computer Assistance, Badge Photo, document collection, and contingency validation

  • Complete post-event audits and communicate metrics to site and staffing leadership

  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System to move candidates through the process and update arrival status for PHA and Day 1

  • Resolve candidate escalation issues by identifying concerns, offering reschedules, or assisting with technology issues

  • Ensure all documents are upload into the digital file management system

  • Travel as needed to conduct events within your designated Node or geographical area. Transport PHA supplies and materials events

  • Work a flexible schedule to support business demands

  • A day in the life

  • Your day starts reviewing labor projections and PHA schedules to ensure upcoming events are fully prepared. You may conduct a morning PHA, greeting candidates, validating documents, coordinating PHA, and guiding new hires through badge photos and system onboarding. In the afternoon, you join a Labor Planning call with operations leaders, review vendor KPIs, and audit metrics from the previous event. No two days are the same, as you flex between sites, resolve escalations, and drive community engagement to keep talent pipelines healthy.
