About the Role Join UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center as part of a dedicated team supporting therapeutic horsemanship programs. The organization is led by an Executive Director and supported by a diverse staff across marketing, operations, program management, volunteer coordination, and grant writing, all working to help individuals with disabilities grow through horses.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with staff across departments to deliver and enhance therapeutic riding and unmounted programs.
- Support program operations, communications, volunteer management, and community engagement.
- Contribute to fundraising, grant writing, and event planning activities to sustain UpReach’s mission.
- Assist with coordination of mounted and unmounted activities, training, and client services as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for horses and commitment to improving lives through therapeutic horsemanship.
- Experience in nonprofit administration, program coordination, communications, or volunteer management.
- Strong teamwork, organization, and interpersonal skills; comfort working in a nonprofit setting.
- Familiarity or interest in PATH Intl. certifications or related equine-assisted activities is a plus.
Nice to Have
- PATH Intl. certifications (CER/ITP/other roles) or equivalent horse therapy credentials.
- Background in marketing, donor relations, or grant writing.
- Experience coordinating volunteers and fundraising campaigns.
