Job title: Staff Training and Development / New Employee Orientation
About the Role The organization is seeking a Staff Training and Development professional to lead new employee orientation and ongoing staff development. You will deliver engaging training led by experienced trainers to help new hires build a strong foundation and empower all team members to provide high-quality services.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and deliver New Employee Orientation and onboarding programs, including courses on Danielle's Law, Stephen Kominos Law, Universal Precautions for Health, Safety, & Bloodborne Pathogens, Incident Reporting, Prevention of Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation, & Bullying, Our Vision Mission, Code of Ethics, & Core Values, Data Collection and Reporting, Shifting Expectations & Perceptions, Our Core Elements, Safe Handling and Assistive Equipment, Mealtime Management, Behavior Supports, Day Program's Policies and Procedures, Introduction to Transportation, Fire Safety and Emergency Evacuation, and Annual Training.
- Manage online coursework through the College of Direct Support, with over 80 courses completed within the first 90 days.
- Lead and coordinate an on-site two-day Staff Development Program each year, totaling 12 hours of mandatory and supportive sessions.
- Partner with trainers and program staff to ensure a comprehensive, compliant training experience and ongoing staff growth.

- Strong organizational skills to coordinate multi-day training events.
- Familiarity with child safety, health, and ethics policies (where applicable).
