About the Role Databricks' Core Experiences Platforms Org in Bangalore is redesigning systems to support rapid growth. You will own multiple platforms, drive scalability, platformization, and reliability, and help re-architect infrastructure to scale 10X–100X. You will collaborate across teams to deliver seamless developer experiences and impactful features, while mentoring junior engineers.

What You'll Do

• Own and define execution across critical dimensions such as scalability, platformization, and reliability for core experiences.
• Platformize serving infrastructure by designing abstractions to support current and emerging use cases and achieving broad consensus across the company.
• Redesign existing systems to handle 10X–100X growth and improve developer onboarding.
• Build amazing developer experience and accelerate onboarding to reduce time from weeks to hours.
• Develop features that enhance product functionality and end-user experience.
• Foster engineering excellence, and mentor future leaders.
• Drive cross-org impact by collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functions.

What We're Looking For

• 12+ years of production-level experience in Python, Java, Scala, C++, or similar language.
• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
• Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA).
