About the Role As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead design, development, and delivery of highly scalable, secure enterprise AI services, with a focus on C# and cloud AI platforms. You will build foundational components for Agentic AI, LLM orchestration, and intelligent automation, and guide the integration of Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and GCP Vertex AI to empower Thomson Reuters product teams. What You'll Do
- Leverage expert-level C# to design, develop, and implement scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise AI services.
- Build foundational components for Agentic AI, LLM orchestration, and intelligent automation.
- Lead technical integration and utilization of Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, and other Agentic AI tech to deliver solutions to product teams.
- Build cloud-based solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP to support AI delivery.
- Develop robust API layers using Azure API Management and Google Cloud APIGEE to expose AI capabilities securely.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to the Enterprise AI Services engineers; promote best practices in software development and C# standards.
- Drive agile development practices (Scrum/Kanban), backlog management, and timely delivery of platform enhancements.
- Unblock complex challenges as a technical SME and ensure production-ready code.
- Research, evaluate, and prototype new AI/Generative AI/Agentic AI architectures; align with roadmap.
- Champion security-by-design across AI platform components; collaborate with information security to address AI security concerns (prompt injection, data poisoning).
- Prepare and present high-quality technical and non-technical documentation for diverse audiences.
- Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks when deploying and scaling AI systems. What We're Looking For
- Expert-level proficiency in C# with a track record of building scalable, secure enterprise AI services.
- Experience designing and integrating cloud AI services (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI).
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms.
- API development experience using platforms like Azure API Management and Google Cloud APIGEE.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring of a team of engineers; strong collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and backlog management.
- Security-by-design mindset; ability to work with information security teams on AI security concerns.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to document concepts for diverse audiences. Nice to Have
- Experience with Agentic AI, Generative AI architectures and related tooling.
