About the Role

At Ripple Treasury, we’re building the next-generation platform for real-time liquidity visibility and cash optimization across banks, accounts, currencies, and entities worldwide. We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Staff Software Developer to lead architecture and engineering efforts, helping to scale the core platform and deliver fast, reliable software in a cloud-native environment.

What You'll Do

• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Drive architectural decisions for the platform, establish technical standards and design patterns, lead design reviews, identify technical debt, and create roadmaps to improve velocity and reliability.

• Team Enablement & Mentorship: Mentor mid-level and senior engineers, establish coding standards and testing strategies, champion observability, incident response, and production excellence; share enthusiasm for new technologies.

• Cross-Functional Impact: Partner with Product and Customer Success to translate requirements into scalable solutions; collaborate across distributed teams to align technical approaches and influence product roadmap.

• Maximize Agility: Identify development bottlenecks, improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes, drive modern engineering practices, and lead blameless post-mortems.

• Strategic Technical Vision: Anticipate scalability challenges, evaluate emerging technologies, design systems for rapid 90-day implementations, and balance technical excellence with business value.

• What We're Looking For

• Proven technical leadership and substantial experience in architecture for large-scale platforms.

• Track record of driving design reviews, establishing standards, and improving testing strategies.

• Ability to mentor engineers and lead cross-functional teams across distributed locations.

• Strong background in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and real-time data processing, ideally in fintech/treasury domains.

• Excellent collaboration skills and a customer/value-focused mindset.

• Nice to Have

• Interest in ML frameworks and modern database technologies.

• Experience with greenfield projects and deploying scalable systems in production.

• Knowledge of treasury/finance domain and enterprise-scale initiatives.
