About the Role Reporting to the Director of HR Shared Services at UCSF, the Staff Shared Services Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for a team delivering high-quality HR services to departments and business units across UCSF. The manager partners closely with campus and health leaders, departments, and colleagues across Human Resources to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable HR operations. What You'll Do
- Lead a team of HR professionals and oversee day-to-day operations to deliver timely and accurate HR services to campus and health units.
- Manage HR Shared Services operations, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with policies and collective bargaining agreements.
- Partner with campus and health leaders, departments, and HR colleagues to align services with strategic priorities and operational needs.
- Monitor performance, develop staff, and implement scalable solutions across UCSF. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 8+ years HR experience; 5+ years management experience.
- Knowledge of HR systems and HR operations.
- Familiarity with collective bargaining, policy interpretation, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. Nice to Have
- Experience with Human Capital Management Systems (HCM).

- Salary: $160,000-$190,000 per year (USD).
