About the Role Skyworks is seeking a Staff Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives in the wafer fabrication operation that produces Compound Semiconductor RF and mobile devices. The role focuses on driving product quality, enhancing manufacturing process capability, and ensuring robust quality systems across the fab, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and other groups to reduce defectivity and improve yield.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and improve the site Quality Management System (QMS) to meet ISO, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Lead internal audits, support external audits, and ensure closure of findings.
- Develop, implement, and optimize quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
- Monitor key metrics including defectivity, yield, excursions, scrap, and customer complaints.
