About the Role The Staff Product Security Engineer will secure Navan products by identifying risks early in the SDLC and building security tooling and processes to promote a shift-left security culture. This role leads the definition and scaling of Navan's product security function, integrating security into the application development lifecycle, conducting security research and assessments, and delivering automated security and anti-fraud solutions, as well as security analysis, design, and training across the organization. You will report to the Director of Product Security and Security Engineering and drive the building and scaling of an enterprise-scale application security program. What You'll Do
- Identify and remediate security risks early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Develop and scale application security tooling, processes, and anti-fraud solutions to promote a shift-left security culture.
- Integrate security into the application development process, collaborate with engineering teams, and conduct security research and assessments.
- Provide security analysis, design guidance, and training across the organization.
- Lead the building and scaling of Navan's product security program, reporting to the Director of Product Security and Security Engineering. What We're Looking For

- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across teams.
- Experience identifying risks early in the SDLC, building security tooling, anti-fraud solutions, conducting security research and assessments, and delivering security training.
- Familiarity with security program leadership and scaling security initiatives.
