About this role
What’s in it for you?
Ready to make a serious impact? Millions of people already rely on Calendly, and we’re still in the midst of exciting product growth — it’s a fantastic time to join us. Everything you’ll work on here will accelerate your career to the next level. If you want to learn, grow, and do the best work of your life alongside the best people you’ve ever worked with, then we hope you’ll consider allowing Calendly to be a part of your professional journey.
As Staff Product Manager, Meetings, you’ll own and evolve this category-defining experience—making scheduling simpler, expanding proven capabilities into new workflows and customer segments, and helping customers get more value across the meeting lifecycle. Millions of people rely on Calendly every day to schedule and manage their meetings, with thousands more joining daily. Meetings is the foundation of the Calendly experience and the core of our business.
This is an opportunity to shape the future of a scaled product used by millions while balancing what makes Calendly successful today with where meetings need to go next.
This is a hybrid position located in the Bay Area, with an expectation to work from our San Francisco office two (2) days per week.
What you’ll do
-
Define the Meetings strategy: Identify the highest-leverage customer and business opportunities across Calendly’s core scheduling experience and translate them into a clear product strategy and roadmap.
-
Make scheduling effortless: Simplify mature workflows, remove friction, and make sophisticated scheduling capabilities intuitive and easy to adopt.
-
Drive growth of the core business: Identify opportunities to improve activation, engagement, retention, and monetization across individual and team customers.
-
Expand proven capabilities: Scale underused and emerging capabilities into new customer segments, workflows, and use cases.
-
Shape the future of Meetings: Develop a strong point of view on how changing customer behaviors and AI will reshape scheduling and meeting management, and translate that into product investments.
-
Lead through influence: Align Engineering, Design, Data, Research, Marketing, Sales, and senior leadership around product decisions, priorities, and tradeoffs.
-
Own outcomes, not output: Define the OKRs and KPIs that matter, use customer insights and data to make decisions, and continuously iterate based on results.
-
Raise the product bar: Bring strong product judgment and customer empathy to one of Calendly’s most important product surfaces while preserving the simplicity customers expect.
-
What we’re looking for
-
8–10 years of product management experience, including significant ownership of a scaled, mature product at a product-driven B2B or B2C SaaS company; experience at a well-scaled company (Series D+) is a plus.
-
A track record of setting product strategy and driving measurable outcomes
-
Demonstrated experience evolving a core product at scale and materially improving metrics such as activation, adoption, engagement, retention, revenue, or customer satisfaction.
-
Exceptional product sense and customer empathy, with experience turning complex workflows into simple, intuitive customer experiences.
-
Strong experience with product-led growth, including self-serve acquisition, activation, virality, engagement, and expansion.
-
Experience building products for both individual users and organizations, ideally in collaboration, productivity, scheduling, or work management.
-
Experience using AI in product development and a strong point of view on how AI can improve customer workflows; experience shipping AI-powered features is a plus.
-
Strong analytical judgment and the ability to combine quantitative data, customer research, and product intuition to make difficult prioritization decisions.
-
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams without direct authority.
-
Comfort operating in ambiguity, challenging assumptions, making clear tradeoffs, and moving quickly when decisions are reversible.
-
Technical depth to partner effectively with Engineering on platform capabilities, integrations, APIs, and architecture. An engineering background is a plus.
-
Ability to work from our San Francisco office two (2) days per week.
-
Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America; Calendly does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
-
What success looks like
