Job title: Staff Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Units, Crisis and Acute Psychiatric Services
Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide nursing services in the Inpatient Units, Crisis and Acute Psychiatric Services (and related programs). The Staff Nurse delivers person-centered, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process, in alignment with departmental and hospital policies and all regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive nursing services to patients in inpatient psychiatric settings using the nursing process to deliver individualized, goal-directed care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement care plans, and coordinate with security and other staff as needed in a clinical setting.
- Ensure adherence to departmental and hospital policies and all regulatory requirements; maintain accurate documentation and records.
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Ability to provide person-centered, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process.
- Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Capacity to work effectively in inpatient psychiatric settings, including crisis and acute services and Partial Hospital Programs as applicable.
Nice to Have
- Experience in inpatient psychiatry, crisis services, or related programs.
- Strong collaboration, communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.
