About the Role The Oncology Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care for Oncology and Hematology patients, including assessment, education, and coordination of therapy and supportive care. This role supports patients through chemotherapy and other treatments, working as part of a multidisciplinary team in Dana-Farber’s Boston-area care network. What You'll Do
- Perform assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for complex oncology/hematology patients.
- Administer chemotherapy and other medications/infusions; provide telephone nursing care and direct patient care.
- Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team; engage in charge capture/billing; educate patients and families; and offer psychosocial support.
- Collaborate with Dana-Farber-affiliated physicians, staff and partner institutions; participate in clinical research activities as needed. What We're Looking For
- Nursing licensure with Oncology/Hematology experience preferred; strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team; commitment to patient education and emotional support.
- Understanding of clinical research principles and practices. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $82,367.58 - $124,614.60 per year.
- Per Diem role; onsite responsibilities at Milford, MA location.
