Staff Nurse – Intensive Care Unit
Job Overview Deliver specialist nursing care to critically ill adults in our 12-bed Intensive Care Unit, working within a multidisciplinary team to provide continuous monitoring, organ support and compassionate family-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and one-to-two nursing care for ventilated and critically ill patients
- Monitor haemodynamic status and respond promptly to changes
- Manage infusions, vasoactive drugs and sedation protocols safely
- Maintain infection prevention and pressure-area care standards
- Keep families informed and supported throughout the patient journey
Qualifications and Experience

B.NSc or RN with post-basic Critical Care Nursing certificate

Current licence with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)

At least 2 years of ICU or high-dependency experience

Valid BLS certification; ACLS preferred
