About the Role Synopsys is seeking a Staff Layout Design Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge semiconductor solutions by translating circuit concepts into physical silicon and shaping layouts that impact performance, power, and manufacturability.
What You'll Do
- Translate circuit concepts into physical silicon and develop layouts that meet performance, power, and manufacturability targets.
- Design and verify layout aspects, including via placement and routing, to ensure reliability across corner conditions.
- Collaborate with IC design, verification, and test teams to optimize memory and layout integration and manufacturability.
What We're Looking For
- Experience translating circuit concepts into physical silicon.
- Understanding that layout decisions affect performance, power, and manufacturability.
- Knowledge of vias, power rails, memory cells, and corner conditions.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
