About the Role The Staff will assist EY's Record to Report (R2R) team with accounting processes, including journal entry processing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and accounting guidelines, maintaining timely delivery across multi-country engagements, and supporting stakeholders with accurate financial data. What You'll Do
- Support Record to Report (R2R) activities, including journal entry processing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and accounting guidelines to prevent errors and compliance issues during processing.
- Adhere to defined processes and timelines for reports and schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
- Update and maintain dashboards to track the progress of R2R activities and the status of multi-country engagements.
- Provide prompt and comprehensive responses to queries from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to R2R processes. What We're Looking For
- Experience in Record to Report (R2R) processes, with expertise in at least one of the core R2R activities (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting).
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts, statutory requirements, and local guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-country environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proactive in seeking process improvements.
