About the Role Staff Engineer, Healthcare Data at b.well Connected Health is a leadership role on our health data platform, focused on scaling data pipelines and ensuring regulatory compliance across EHR data, wearables, portals, and other sources. What You'll Do
- Build and optimize data pipelines for healthcare data at scale on the FHIR-based platform.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA/ONC, data quality, and security standards.
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in data engineering and platform reliability. What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of data engineering or health IT experience; ownership of large-scale pipelines.
- Expertise with Spark (PySpark), Python, FHIR (HL7 FHIR R4, v2.x), data quality, and HIPAA/ONC compliance.
- AI-native with coding agents. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $180,000-$220,000 per year. This is a remote, full-time role.
