Technology Job Family Group:
IT&S Group Job Description:
Your opportunity:
Join our e-invoicing programme and help build how we respond to the global shift towards digital, near-real-time transaction reporting. As Tax Delivery Manager, you will lead technology delivery across countries, helping us meet regulatory obligations while building solutions that are consistent, resilient and easy to support.
You will bring people together across Tax, Finance, ERP, integration, data, security, operations and external partners. You will turn regulatory needs into practical delivery plans and support teams through testing, implementation and transition into service. This role offers visible, significant work with the opportunity to influence a growing global capability.
What you will do:
Lead a portfolio of country e-invoicing and digital reporting implementations, focusing the team on regulatory priorities and achievable plans.
Work with subject-matter guides to turn country requirements into clear scope, achievements, dependencies, decisions and acceptance criteria.
Connect Tax, Finance, business, ERP, integration, data, security, service and supplier teams across the invoice lifecycle.
Promote shared standards and reusable capabilities while recognising genuine local statutory needs.
Keep delivery clear by leading plans, risks, issues, decisions, costs, resources and regulatory dates.
Guide data readiness, end-to-end testing, reconciliation, control evidence, cutover and post-launch stabilisation.
Partner with external providers, clarifying responsibilities, dependencies, service expectations and resilience needs.
Support a smooth transition into BAU, with clear ownership, monitoring, incident management, change control and fallback arrangements.
Use practical measures—such as timeliness, error rates, control efficiency, stability and cost—to track outcomes and improve delivery.
What success looks like:
Priority implementations move forward against clear, credible plans.
Country, Tax and Technology teams understand the decisions, responsibilities and evidence needed for launch.
Data and integration issues are surfaced early and addressed before they affect statutory delivery.
Solutions are reusable where possible, locally compliant where needed and operationally efficient.
Internal teams and external partners work together towards shared end-to-end outcomes.
What you will bring
Experience delivering technology-enabled change involving several teams, systems, countries or partners.
A practical grounding in delivery planning, governance, dependencies, risks and issues, budgets, testing, cutover and transition to service.
Experience in ERP, integration, data-rich or regulated environments, with an understanding of end-to-end process impacts.
The ability to work with specialists to interpret business or regulatory needs and shape realistic delivery scope.
Experience working with third-party providers and constructively testing assumptions, estimates and commitments.
Clear, inclusive communication and the ability to build alignment, explain trade-offs and raise decisions at the right time.
Familiarity with Agile, hybrid or traditional delivery approaches, and the judgement to use what fits the work.
Useful, but not crucial
Exposure to e-invoicing, indirect tax, digital reporting or tax technology.
Experience with SAP or another enterprise ERP, middleware or compliance platform.
Knowledge of financial controls, audit evidence, operational resilience or service transition.
A project, programme or Agile delivery qualification—or equivalent practical experience.
How you will lead:
You will lead through ownership, collaboration and influence rather than hierarchy. You will compose a clear delivery rhythm, help specialists work towards shared outcomes, support colleagues’ development and make timely decisions when targets, controls or service continuity are at risk.
Interested? If the opportunity appeals to you but your experience does not match every point, we still encourage you to apply. We value transferable skills, different perspectives and a willingness to learn.
