Staff Data Scientist
About this role
About the Role Databricks is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to help shape key data science areas such as segmentation, recommendation systems, forecasting, product analytics, churn prediction and insights. You will partner with Engineering, Product Management, Sales and Customer Success to understand product usage patterns and drive data-driven decisions. You will also mentor junior data scientists and build self-serving internal data products to democratize data across the company.
What You'll Do
- Shape the direction of key data science areas including segmentation, recommendations, forecasting, product analytics, churn insights, and cohorts analysis.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Sales and Customer Success to understand usage patterns and make data-driven recommendations and forecasts.
