About the Role The Staff AI Platform Engineer leads the engineering delivery of Tangerine's AI Platform, ensuring timely delivery, quality, resiliency and operational excellence. Reporting to the Head of Data and AI Platforms, this role partners with business and product leads to translate vision into executable plans and deliver robust AI capabilities that support Tangerine's applications and client journeys. What You'll Do
- Own the successful engineering delivery of the Tangerine AI Platform in alignment with the desired outcomes, focusing on AI/ML/Agentic platform capabilities (MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, model training, deployment, monitoring, governance) and ensuring stability, scalability, and high performance of critical platform capabilities and services.
- Partner with technology, risk, analytics and business teams to deliver on the AI platform vision/strategy and create robust technical solutions that support a best-in-class AI platform.
- Collaborate across other teams to meet strategic priorities and maintain quality, stability, and stakeholder alignment.
- Deliver infrastructure and tooling to support AI platform capabilities. What We're Looking For
- Strong background in AI/ML platform engineering, including MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, model training, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
- Proven track record delivering scalable, reliable AI platform services in collaboration with technology, risk, analytics and business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business strategy into executable technical plans and drive delivery with a focus on quality and stability.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to align diverse teams around a shared vision. Nice to Have
- Experience with large-scale cloud-based AI platforms in the financial services sector.
