Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations across the North America region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple accounting functions, partnering with internal teams, and stepping in to assist as business needs shift.
Responsibilities

· Support core general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and assistance with month-end and year-end close.

· Respond to audit requests, prepare financial analyses, and help summarize accounting and operating expense data for leadership and business partners.

· Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting questions and provide timely financial support across the organization.

· Handle payroll-related entries for U.S. and Canada operations and assist with specialized accounting tasks tied to concessions, consignment, and cost reallocations.

· Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts for general and administrative expenses.

· Provide backup support for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment application and account reconciliation.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline.

· 2+ years of experience, ideally in retail or a high-end consumer brand environment.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines, daily postings, and multiple priorities at once.

· Collaborative, adaptable professional who works well in a fast-moving environment and maintains a positive approach to change.
