Staff Accountant | $90K–$110K + Bonus (Up to $120K DOE)

I’m partnering with an established, nationally recognized real estate development firm looking to add a Staff Accountant to its team.
The firm specializes in transforming complex land projects into thriving mixed-use communities, offering exposure to multi-entity accounting, joint ventures, and real estate development.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations, and intercompany transactions across multiple entities
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Participate in month-end close across multiple entities and development projects
- Assist with quarterly reforecasts, annual budgets, and development cost tracking
- Support joint venture reporting, external audits, tax preparation, and lender compliance requests
- Provide backup AP support, including invoice coding, entity allocation, vendor coordination, and payment processing
- Ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with internal controls
Who They’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate
- Strong general ledger and multi-entity accounting experience
- Familiarity with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and financial analysis
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar real estate accounting systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
- Someone accountable and proactive who takes ownership and prioritizes accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
