About the Role

SRE Cloud Databases (AI Ops) H/F/N joins the OneTeam to operate and co-build OVHcloud's DBaaS product, offering a catalog of database engines for OVHcloud customers using AI-powered tooling. You will be responsible for the construction, operation, maintenance and support of the product, integrating AI solutions to optimize performance and efficiency. The role involves 24/7 support across multiple data centers.

What You'll Do

• Exploit, support and improve the DBaaS product, 24/7 across data centers.
• Manage alerts and incidents related to the product, reactively and proactively.
• Ensure optimal fit of the product with OVHcloud's offering.
• Integrate the product within OVHcloud's internal infrastructure and tooling (CI/CD, monitoring and alerting, etc.).
• Monitor and improve system performance for resource management.
• Maintain the quality level of services and infrastructure in line with internal and external SLA targets.
• Maintain internal documentation for the Cloud Databases team and related OVHcloud teams, and public user docs for proper product operation.
• Support QA and certification processes.

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in English and French (spoken and written).
• Solid knowledge in Unix/Linux environments, networking and system administration.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers and Cloud Native/DevOps philosophy.
• Proficiency with deployment and configuration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Comfortable with CI/CD concepts and scripting.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Autonomy, dynamism, curiosity and strong investigative capability.
• Customer-oriented with strong adaptability and excellent communication.
• Familiarity with database ecosystem and distributed systems concepts.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with OVHcloud's database ecosystem and technologies.
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts.
• Mastery of one or more programming languages.
