About the Role The Sr Therapeutic Specialist is responsible for driving sales performance within an assigned territory by promoting Gilead products to healthcare professionals through strong therapeutic and disease-area expertise. The role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, executing territory business plans, achieving sales targets, and collaborating cross-functionally with Medical, Marketing, and Commercial teams. What You'll Do
- Drive sales performance within assigned territory by promoting Gilead products to healthcare professionals leveraging deep therapeutic and disease-area knowledge.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and healthcare providers.
- Execute territory business plans and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Marketing, and Commercial teams to align strategies and provide field insights.
- Maintain knowledge of external market dynamics and product/protocols. What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of successful pharmaceutical or healthcare sales in highly competitive markets.
- Strong business acumen; ability to work independently.
- Deep knowledge of assigned product(s) and therapeutic areas; ability to credibly discuss science with physicians and other stakeholders.
- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills; ability to identify issues, opportunities, and communicate recommendations to marketing and sales management.
- Understanding of external business drivers and internal company operations; familiarity with staffing and decision-making networks to get work done. Nice to Have
- Significant specialty pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Strong business acumen and ability to work independently in a competitive environment.
