About the Role Skyworks is seeking a full-time Sr Test Automation Engineer for Ottawa, Ontario, Canada to develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions for highly integrated RF modules and support WiFi products. You will collaborate with Product Engineering and Design teams to design robust test solutions that enable high yield, reliability, and manufacturability, while ensuring compliance with GLP and GMP. What You'll Do
- Develop automated RFIC ATE test solutions for NPI and high-volume manufacturing.
- Execute automated test strategies to improve yield, test coverage, quality, test platform conversions and test cost.
- Develop and maintain tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release; compile software from source and store tools in source control.
- Create test solutions focused on probe, package, and characterization testing; prepare test and diagnostic programs.
- Support developers for software package registry and delivery.
- Collaborate with Project Engineering, Design Verification/Validation, Test Automation, and Test Engineering teams; translate requirements into actionable test specifications.
- Ensure programs comply with GLP and GMP; establish operational procedures and deploy automated systems with manufacturing partners.
- Provide testing parameters for customer samples as needed. What We're Looking For
- Experience developing automated RFIC ATE test solutions for NPI and high-volume manufacturing.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Design Test Verification/Validation, Test Automation, and Test Engineering teams.
- Understanding of manual operations in Design Verification Engineering, Project Engineering, and Test Engineering.
- Knowledge of GLP and GMP compliance and documentation.
- Experience with test program development, tooling, and source control.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
