About the Role
As a Sr. Technical Project Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team through New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept to Mass Production (MP) and coordinate activities across multiple sites. You will drive risk reduction, investigate issues, and solve problems at the project level while delivering high-quality experiences for millions of users interacting with digital content.
What You'll Do
- Manage and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) development through the product life cycle from concept to product delivery, applying project management standards.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to deliver projects on time within defined expectations for experience, cost, and quality.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Engineering, and Operations to develop and deliver technical components for the roadmap.
- Create risk management lists and contingency plans; decide on and execute contingency plans when required.
- Report and communicate regularly; escalate when project goals are at risk, including status reporting to key stakeholders, BG directors through management review meetings and Gate meetings as prescribed by internal development processes.
- Build strong relationships with Design, OPS, and Business partners.
- Identify innovation pillars, ingredients, and technologies required to fulfill the development of future roadmap; supervise the agreed plan.
- Collaborate with Managers to improve project organization, efficiency (tools, processes), and time to market; ensure activities operate within organizational policies.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Leader for Software development with Hardware dependencies.
- Experience driving cross-functional teams for co-creation sessions.
- Creative mindset with Design Thinking knowledge and experience.
- Strong cross-technical knowledge in Software, Embedded Software (ESW) / Firmware (FW), and Electrical Engineering (EE).
- Deep knowledge of Project Management Standard & Methodology from project concept stage to full development - familiar with Agile Scrum Management, SAFe, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Great interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across organizations and geographies.
- Ability to interact, influence, and negotiate effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and activities.
- Independent and critical thinking with analytic skills.
- Good understanding of working with a functional team in a Global Environment.
- Formal Project Management training and Certification (PMP).
- Engineering background or management experience is a plus.
